"For the past few weeks, Greenpeace Germany has been placing stones in the North Sea in an effort to halt destructive fishing and encourage the governments of Germany and the Netherlands to create more fully-protected marine reserves. For the past three years at Greenpeace, I have been working to protect the German Sylt reef area of the North Sea and overseeing efforts to place large stones in this amazing ocean area. The Sylt reef is home to rare harbour porpoises- which are all too often entangled in fishing nets and other fishing gear used by fishing operations there."

"More than a year and a half after Greenpeace activists walked up the red carpet at state banquet where they opened a banner calling on world leaders to take urgent action to save the Copenhagen climate talks, eleven Greenpeace activists from eight countries appeared today in a Danish court, where they faced serious charges for their peaceful protest.
On the night of December 17th 2009, the Copenhagen Climate Summit was limping towards failure, but a glimmer of hope existed – there was still a chance to deliver a global climate deal. World leaders needed to be reminded of this, so Juan as 'Head of State of the Natural Kingdom', his 'wife' Nora, and Christian, as their ‘bodyguard, walked up the red carpet to a royal dinner for more than 120 heads of states at the Danish Parliament Building. Once inside they unfurled banners that read “Politicians talk, leaders act”."

Google buys Motorola Mobility

The big company is Google announced Monday (Aug. 15) the purchase of Motorola Mobility for the purposes of expanding their businesses in the area of mobile technology, foster the development of Android and obtaining necessary patents. The purchase cost somewhere around OF12, 5 million dollars earning approximately $ 40 per share to shareholders of Motorola. Such plans by increasing the competitiveness of the company in its strong competitor to Apple.

A compra custou algo em torno de 12,5 milhões de doláres rendendo aproximadamente US$40 por ações para os acionistas da Motorola. Tais planos aumetariam a competividade da empresa frente a sua concorrente de peso a Apple.

"Jessa was born in sunny Southern California; the eldest of five children. She loved to do Hobbies such as gymnastics, dance, and cheerleading. Although she enjoyed all of these activities she discovered drama class was her true joy.
