Enya was born and raised in Gaoth Dobhair, County Donegal (Dhun nGall in Irish), located in northwest Ireland, a place whose official language is Irish. Before going solo career, she was part of the group Clannad mainly composed by members of his family. In his songs there is a rich mix of Celtic folk and navigating the ocean of classical music and incorporates elements of it too. Below is a clip of one of his songs.

Eithne Patricia Ni Bhraonain, filha do casal Máire (o Baba) Duggan e Leo Brennan, conhecida como Enya é uma cantora irlandesa. Enya nasceu e foi criada em Gaoth Dobhair, condado de Donegal (Dhún na nGall em irlandês), situado no noroeste da Irlanda, um local cuja língua oficial é o irlandês. Antes de seguir careira solo integrava o grupo Clannad formado basicamente por membros de sua familia. Em suas canções há uma rica mistura de elementos celtas e do folk navegando pelo oceanos da música clássica e incorporando elementos do mesmo também. Abaixo vai um clipe de uma de suas canções.
